Sleep Test WELCOME TO THE SLEEP TEST... HOW SLEEPY ARE YOU DURING THE DAY...? A questionnaire that is often used to map sleepiness is the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS). This simple self-test (not a diagnostic) can give you clarity about what your daytime sleepiness is telling you by answering 8 questions. High levels of sleepiness can be a sign of sleep deprivation and/or poor quality sleep, possibly due to a sleep disorder. Therefore, in the following situations, indicate how likely it is that you nod off off or fall asleep, even if you haven't done some of these things recently. Try to work out how they would affect you. It is important that you answer each question as best you can, choose the most appropriate option for each situation.
